ACTIVITY CLASS
Our training club is designed to cater for those who wish to participate in an activity with their dog but not necessarily compete.
Using positive, reward based methods you can work on increasing your dogs obedience, learn new tricks, try your hand (or paw) at different sports and most importantly strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Please note dogs must be over 10 months old for this class.
We cover many different exercises and disciplines including:
Distance work
hand signals
stops, send-aways
Scent-work
Agility
Heelwork

Scent work 4 week beginners course
Sunday 27th July at 12pm
Scentwork starter course
Scentwork is a natural activity for dogs & great for any age and ability, even reactive dogs.
In the 4 week starter sessions you will learn:

The science behind the Canine nose.

Teaching scent discrimination

How to get the dog to indicate
-
Passive & active searchs.
Our classes are held indoors and out (weather permitting). We welcome any dogs over a year old, however to get the most out of the class your dog must be able to work around other dogs and have good basic obedience.
Dogs known to have shown aggression towards other dogs or people cannot attend these sessions. Please contact us regarding private training.
Heel-work & Obedience beginners class
14th June at 11 am- 6 week course £120
Heel-Work & Obedience
Our beginner level training class focuses on heel-work and other aspects of competitive obedience.In addition to mastering heel-work we will also cover:
- Sit/Stay
- Recall
- Finish
All ages & abilities welcome but dogs must be friendly and able to work around other dogs without being distracted.
