Unlocking Your Dog’s Potential: Introducing Our 3 New Reward-Based Obedience Courses
Every dog owner dreams of that perfect partnership: a dog that walks calmly on a loose lead, comes back the moment they are called, and settles happily when visitors arrive. But we know that getting there takes consistency, understanding, and the right motivation.
I am thrilled to announce the launch of my three new reward-based obedience courses. Designed to take you from the basics right through to advanced precision, these courses are about more than just "sit" and "stay"—they are about building a lifelong bond through games, fun, and positive reinforcement.
Here is everything you need to know about our new training pathway.
1. The Foundation Course
"Building Life Skills & Confidence"
Best for: Dogs over 6 months old (perfect for those tricky teenage months!)
Duration: 6 Weeks | 45-minute lessons
Class Size: Max 6 dogs
This course is designed to instill the essential life skills every dog needs to be a happy member of the family. We move beyond the basics to tackle real-world scenarios, including the often-overlooked area of cooperative care (handling for the vet/groomer) and muzzle training.
What we cover:
Essential Obedience: Loose lead walking, recall, stay, food manners, and control at doorways.
Cooperative Care: Preparing your dog for vet visits and muzzle training.
Fun & Motivation: Introduction to agility (jumps, tunnels, weaves) and heel work positions.
Extra Resources Included: You will also receive guides on owner etiquette (including the Countryside Code and the Yellow Dog Campaign), body language awareness, basic first aid, and legal responsibilities.
2. Intermediate Obedience – The Elite Award
"Reliability in the Real World"
Prerequisite: Foundation skills
Duration: 8 Weeks | 45-minute lessons
Class Size: Max 6 dogs
Once your dog knows the basics, it is time to test them against the biggest challenge of all: distractions. The Elite Award focuses on proofing your dog's obedience so they listen to you even when the world is busy. We also introduce scent work, tapping into your dog's natural olfactory super-power!
What we cover:
Distraction Training: Loose lead walking and recall around distractions.
Safety & Control: 2-minute stays, emergency stops/waits, vehicle control, and "leave it."
Games & Skills: "Go Round," "Send Away" (to bed), scent work (Find It), and moving position changes.
Extra Resources Included: We dive deeper into the theory with resources on how dogs learn, problem-solving strategies for when things go wrong, and comprehensive health check/symptom recognition guides.
3. Advanced Obedience – The Masters Award
"Precision, focus, and Freedom"
Best for: Dogs over 12 months old
Duration: 8 Weeks | 45-minute lessons
Class Size: Max 6 dogs
This is the gold standard. The Masters Award is for owners who want to polish their teamwork and enjoy off-lead freedom with confidence. This course blends high-level obedience with fitness and mental stimulation.
What we cover:
Advanced Control: Off-lead heel work, out-of-sight stays, and distance work.
Precision Skills: Scent discrimination, retrieves, and pivot work.
The Ultimate Challenge: A combined heel work and obedience course.
Extra Resources Included: To keep your canine athlete in top shape, you will receive resources on canine fitness exercises, feeding, and supplements.
Why Choose These Courses?
We believe that learning shouldn't stop when the class ends. That is why our courses are designed to support you extensively outside of the training field.
Small Class Sizes: With a maximum of 6 dogs per class, you are guaranteed individual attention and a calm environment.
Whats App Support: Every course comes with a dedicated Whats-App group. Ask questions, share your "wins," get feedback on your homework, and chat with fellow owners.
Resources for Life: No need to take frantic notes. All learning resources, guides, and theory sheets are emailed to you, yours to keep and refer back to forever.
